We, the undersigned residents and concerned citizens of the State of Iowa, call upon the Iowa
General Assembly to take immediate legislative action to prohibit all forms of geoengineering
within the state.
 

Geoengineering is defined as the deliberate large-scale manipulation of the Earth's climate
systems, including the deliberate injection of particles and toxic compounds into the
atmosphere that pose significant risks and uncertainties to our environment, health, and well-being of future generations.
 

By prohibiting geoengineering, Iowa will take a principled stand against potentially harmful interventions and demonstrate leadership in the pursuit of sustainable and ethical climate solutions. We, the undersigned, believe that safeguarding our environment and health is paramount and urge the Iowa General Assembly to act swiftly to enact this legislation.
